Based on the slowest moving average, MAcrosses indicator counts the percent of the moving averages where the strong trend forces the prices to be much more distant from the average than the prices under the effect of a weaker trend. As the prices fluctuate, moving averages act as a shadow for the price dynamics for the MAcrosses to detect them. However, MAcrosses sometimes give false trading signals when the market has a high range of prices. So it is preferred to be used in much more stable markets because any deficiency in the calculated the variables will give wrong indications.
When the trend is strong enough and assured, MAcrosses doesn’t make a mistake and puts you just with the right signals. Reaching a 100% in the calculation means that all of the prices are far away from the slowest moving average, while dropping to 0% means that all of the calculated moving averages are below the slowest one.

Buy Signal: Wait for MAcrosses indicator to reach 100%.
Sell Signal: Wait for MAcrosses indicator to drop to 0%.
