Red above Green -> Down.
Periods that seem useful are 4, 16, 128.
Value is calculated as follows:
Up (Green) = ((High – Open) + (Close – Low))/2, averaged for the selected period;
Down (Red) = ((Open – Low) + (High – Close))/2, averaged for the selected period.
Having a red line is an indication of a down trend and the green light is an indication of an up trend. This simplicity is needed in detecting trends. So this indicator actually compares between trends whether they are going up or down with motion identification.
